Radio Shack’s suggestive commercial for the Beats Pill garnered nearly a million views but back in 2012 when the device was unveiled, I thought what their art director was thinking: this thing looks like a phallus. I decided to photograph it. More below.

BRUNO BISANG: 30 YEARS OF POLAROIDS OPENS TODAY IN LONDON (PHOTOS)

Swiss photographer Bruno Bisang’s “30 Years of Polaroids” show opens today in London at the Little Black Gallery, a space renowned for excellent work by up-and- coming-as-well as established artists. Bisang has shot for GQ, Vogue, Amica and loads of other important fashion magazines in the 80s and 90s, most notably during the height of the supermodel era.

THROWBACK THURSDAY: SPIKE LEE’S OBAMA BOOK, MICHAEL JORDAN, MARS BLACKMON & NOLA DARLING (PHOTOS)

Spike Lee is having a great week! The Knicks taped The Nets 100-86  last night at Barclays Center, and his newest feature Red Hook Summer will be released on DVD tomorrow. A few days ago Brooklyn and The Knicks most vocal cheerleader, via Twitter,  posted the above Polaroid of legendary baller and sneaker salesman Michael Jordan, Mars Blackmon, and Nola Darling on the set of an unreleased Jordan commercial made in the late 1980s. We may never know what a She’s Gotta Have It themed Jordan commercial looks like but the Polaroid comes close.
