Not really a Rihanna fan. I like, maybe, two songs from her catalog. But one thing is certain: the Bajan beauty knows how to dress. Just look at her in this white midriff baring Stella McCartney ensemble at the 2014 Met Gala. Her curves are perfect, the hair slays, and… well see for yourself.
Last month Numero magazine caught heat for publishing photos, again, of a white model in blackface. Outrage ensued, naturally. In response to the objections, the French magazine issued a statement/apology to HuffPo that said, in short, they weren’t racist because two of their best friends were black.One friend was Naomi Campbell. The other is Fernando Cabral, above.

Swiss photographer Bruno Bisang’s “30 Years of Polaroids” show opens today in London at the Little Black Gallery, a space renowned for excellent work by up-and- coming-as-well as established artists. Bisang has shot for GQ, Vogue, Amica and loads of other important fashion magazines in the 80s and 90s, most notably during the height of the supermodel era.

Philomena Kwao may just replace Naomi Campbell as the face of British high fashion and style. The 22 year old economics student from Kent and former Miss Ghana UK was recently signed by Whilomena and Model 1 after taking first place in a nationwide competition in conjunction with curve centric brand Evans and fashion plates Models 1 and Style369.com.
