King was found by his fiance at the bottom of a pool in LA last night, TMZ is reporting. He was 47.
Sources tell TMZ they responded to a call at 5:25 AM PT. We’re told they physically removed King from the pool and attempted CPR. Our sources say he was pronounced dead at 6:11 AM.Law enforcement sources say Rialto PD will open a drowning investigation. King became famous in 1991 when he was the victim of police brutality at the hands of the LAPD.
Rodney King died without his wish of all of us getting along coming true, made after the 1991 LA race riots after cops were found not guilty of brutality during a traffic stop.
Life for King became unpleasant later on with drug problems and more arrests. May he rest in peace.
