Things are not looking up in Mexico! Mexican authorities say that the mutilated corpses of 43 men and 6 women, whose heads, hands and feet were chopped off, were found on a highway in a pile in Cadereyta Jimenez early Sunday morning in the state of Nuevo Leon, dumped by suspected drug gang killers, reports Reuters.
The bodies, all of them missing heads, were discovered several days after 23 bodies were discovered in a van in Guadalajara and is one the country’s worst attrocities in recent years. The Zeta drug cartel, which was founded by deserters of the Mexican army, claimed responsibility in a message left near the corpses. Identifying the victims will be next to impossible.
Over 50, 000 people have died in the drug wars in Mexico since 2006, in a war over control of drug routes in the North of Mexico. Thousands of the victims have yet to be identified.
