We weren’t sure what to think after we learned that portrait artist and culinary marvel Kehinde Wiley switched lanes and was painting the female form. We first learned about a project he did with Ricardo Tisci, which went up last Friday in New York, and was certain Wiley would excel. Turned out Wiley’s first female subject was musician Santigold.
