NEW MUSIC/VIDEO: BAHAMADIA’S ‘CAR SESSIONS” ( VIDEO)

We are a few days late with this but legendary MC and Philly native Bahamadia dropped a new video and music last week; and it is banging! No surprise since mediocrity is absent from the MC’s vocabulary. Titled ‘Car Sessions’, the three and a half minute video, shot and edited by Jimmy Giambrone, shows the BB Queen,  parked in the drivers seat of her whip making music on her smartphone via an unidentified app. As she programs her beats, words flash on the screen, schooling the viewer about what it is we’re hearing: the future.

Legendary New York graffiti artist and designer CLAW Money will unveil a new installation at the Lord & Taylor store on 5th Avenue tomorrow night. Claw, whom we last saw on Netflix a few weeks ago in  Infamy, and whom we follow on Twitter, said that the new work is a great way for her to commune with the public.

Stars in My Pocket Like Grains of Sand is a group show at the Lower East Side Printshop curated by artist Jayson Keeling. Opening tonight, and running through September, this eight person show features prints by artists Rebecca Bird, Andrew Chan, Heidi duPont, Cristina Moroño, Irena Pejovic, Felix Plaza, Elian Stolarsky, and Liz Zanis who use abstract imagery “to propose and obscure their personal agendas.”

BATMAN/SUPERMAN MOVIE ANNOUNCED AT COMIC CON (DETAILS)

“I am the man who beat you,” read Harry Lennix, before an image of the Superman logo, backed by the Batman symbol, flashed on the screen at the 2013 San Diego Comic Con.
