The lovable character from the 8 bit game by the same name was released in 1980 by a Japanese company who tried to take on Space Invaders, the reigning title at the time, publishing Pac-Man as Pakkuman, a round, mobile yellow being who loves to eat pellets and ghosts! Born in Spanish Town, Jamaica into a conservative, religious family in 1948, Jones rebelled hard after she was moved to Syracuse, NY as a teenager by her parents. Thank God she did because the world would be less interesting without Grace and her antics.

Reggae artist Beenie Man joins the list of artists who are speaking about the LGBT community positively after President Obama came out in support of gay marriage. The, allegedly, formerly homophobic dancehall artist released a video apologizing to gays for over ten years of violently homophobic lyrics in his music. “I respect all human being, including gays and lesbian,” Beenie Man said in the video which was sent to Rototom Sunsplash, organizers of the largest reggae festival in the world. Disco diva Donna Summer has died from cancer, TMZ is reporting. Summer died this morning in Florida at age 63. A 5-time Grammy winner who shot to superstardom in the ’70s with iconic hits including Last Dance, Hot Stuff and Bad Girls, Summer was the Queen of Disco and an icon.
