The National Zoo in Washington is celebrating a milestone with the birth of two fishing cats, an endangered species, AP is reporting. Until today, I had no idea this type of cat existed. Not that I’m an expert or anything.

Cats capable of suicide? Yes, says Professor Abuzer Tas of the Faculty of Veterinary Studies at Van’s Century University in Turkey. Last October Van was the recipient of a 7.5 magnitude earthquake and since then cats in the area have been freaking out! This is crazy but not surprising because cats are social beings.
