Super Bowl 48 hits New York and New Jersey in a few short weeks and some of the hottest names high fashion are throwing their weight behind football’s biggest day via an auction of couture helmets.

John Varvatos, newcomer Public School, Rachel Zoe, Rag & Bone and more designed helmets for charity and now you can bid on at auction via Bloomingdales. The minimum bid for each helmet will be $248, celebrating the 48th Super Bowl which is taking place across two states.

Some of the pieces look really cool, especially the Billy Reid designed one heading this post. We like it because its elegant in its simpkicity.
