The Nike Ricardo Tischi Air Force 1 Collection will release in two distinct packs starting in spring 2014. The collection will include the Nike R.T. Air Force 1 Lo, Nike R.T. Air Force 1 Mid, Nike R.T. Air Force 1 Hi, and the Nike R.T. Air Force 1 Boot and be available globally at select retailers and on Nikelab.com. All styles will be available in white from March 1, and in black from April 1.

When we saw a preview of the kicks last week we weren’t sure what to expect other than doneness or weirdness. Our expectations were met and proved something we thought and predicted last year: Air Force 1′s will rule 2014.

“The shoe is universal yet somehow very personal,” says Tisci who spoke to the Telegraph yesterday. “I travel all over the world, and I see people wearing the Air Force 1, and they wear it in so many different ways. And so I was thinking, what is the essence of the Air Force 1? And how do I take that essence and make my own statement?”
Tisci continues, “For me the Air Force 1 is not about gender, it’s not about a particular city, nor is it about a certain style. The community decides. It’s democratic. It’s love.”

Whether you love them remains to be seen. There’s a calf length version of the iconic shoe as well as the normal mid-low. The colorways are not for the faint of heart but we’re sure you’ll make it work.
