It sounds crazy but a Chinese firm is planning to build the world’s tallest skyscraper in 90 days using prefabricated materials.BSB, Broad Sustainable Building, the firm behind the 30 story hotel built in 15 days last year in China, is behind the scheme.
Senior VP of the Broad Group Juliet Jiang has publicly said that they “will go on as planned with the completion of five storeys a day,” and that Sky City will house over 31, 000 people of various incomes and will rival the Burj Khalifa, the current tallest building in the world. Sky City will house schools, hospitals, offices, shops and restaurants and will use over 200, 000 tons tonnes of steel.104 elevators will usher people between floors of the edifice which will boast the cleanest air and energy of a building to date. Further, Sky City, like the 30 story hotel, will also be earthquake proof and is awaiting clearance from the Chinese government. Time lapse of the hotel project is below.
